This little unit allowed you to switch between different antennas to see which was the best under certain conditions. Not really built to high RF standards, due to poor isolation between ports, these units would not really be suitable for higher power applications.

So, when there was a good Sporadic E opening, you could see which antenna was performing the best, by switching from port to port and comparing the signals. [NOT WHILST TRANSMITTING THOUGH!!]
