Another classic Microphone from the Astatic stable was the D-104M6B.
Almost identical in sound to the D-104 Base microphone, and similar in sound to the Silver Eagle, this pre-amplified microphone had an adjustable control to deliver superb quality audio.
It also was powered by an internal PP3 9V battery, and had a six core curly lead fitted, which, unless you were "in the know" caused a headache when tring to connect it to the rig of your choice!!
