Picture courtesy of Orange Man-John from Wootton BassettMike, the Bombardier, from the "Royal" Forest of Dean, will probably give many of you a happy reminder of CB yesteryear.
A legend amongst the DX'ing fraternity, Mike would always answer your calls, and spend time telling you what he and Blackbeard-Bob had been up to. He would always refer to you as a rascal, and pull your leg at any opportunity!
Sadly, I learned, that Mike passed away this year.
I am sure I speak on behalf of all that knew him, when I say he was a true CB legend in the South of England, and will be sadly missed amongst his radio friends that he made over the years.
