The Canadian connection.....

Liam [Fat Badger] and I started talking on channel one night and I was claiming I was in Vancouver.
.
I knew the area well, so could pull off the accent, I also knew the small town names, and kept adjusting the wire at the back of the radio to simulate a fluctuating signal. Suddenly, a strong local station called in and asked if I could hear him/her.
.
Crazy how [name withheld] bought into it straight away, we were chatting for ages about life in Canada and how this was the best hit he/she had ever had.
.
I had to be careful with the time differences, so that I couldn't be talking to him/her when it would be 4am there etc. So therefore could only talk to him/her in the evenings!
.
Needless to say for the next six weeks, channel [withheld] was full of stories of how [name withheld] spoke to Canada!
