Roy, Candy Moon, many of you will probably remember as TG19, and as Chairman of the White Horse Club. Roy always had a story to tell, and would often be surrounded by people at the club meetings, eager to hear of his happenings!

He once told me that he used to play football with my Dad!

I shall always remember him in the orange Morris Marina estate, with every antenna you could think of wedged under the seats, and a loose battery in the back of the car for powering his "kettle" on cold nights!

Roy was also heavily involved in charity events, and fund raising. His involvement in the Wiltshire Air Ambulance appeal can be seen here.

He also co-ordinated the Sponsored DX for the Odstock Hospital in Salisbury.

Hi Jon
Roy Candy Moon was Club secretary not Chairman.
Sparky Eric was Chairman.
Although it has to be said that Roy was the driving force behind the Club, and was often thought of as Chairman.
