In the picture above, you can see Cueball [Mo] and Rollerball [George] from the legendary Charlie 03 team of volunteers who gave directions to people who inadvertently got lost in Swindon.
One of the badges that was made for one of the Charlie 03 team can be seen here.
The Charlie 03 team also had a large signal meter at their base-station, and were able to give very accurate signal reports to people who were putting their antennas higher or comparing two different antennas.
The picture above shows Mo, and George, relaxing at the Barbury Castle Country Park. They were raising funds for the Charlie 03 project, and I am informed these were taken around 1986!
