The frequency/channel chart was your "Tom Tom" of the CB channels back in the 1980's.
If you owned a multi-band CB radio such as the Tristar 777, or Cobra 148 GTL-DX, you could inadvertently get lost in radio spectrum until you got used to using them properly.
If you knew a rig doctor who could supply you a frequency chart, or had a frequency counter, you could easily navigate yourself around the channels, and chase that rare DX!
