So, you finally get your Cobra 148 GTL-DX, and bravely switch it on and it says high block channel 12...but where are you in the radio spectrum?
.
Does channel 12 correspond with your other radios? No of course not!
.
That's when you need one of these Galaxy frequency counters to help you find your way.
.
Just plug it in to the 12 Volt power supply, and connect an RF patch lead so it fits between your radio and the antenna!
.
The Tom Tom, for want of a better description, of the 1980's CB frequencies, this little device would allow you to get around the channels/frequencies until you got used to it.
.
Now, a reliable source informed me that the frequency for high block channel 12, is 27.555 MHz.
.
By utilising this little gadget, you could see for yourself exactly what frequency you were on.
