The Harrier CB HQ, was the Flagship of the Harrier range of CB radios.
Features included a built in power supply [direct from 240V AC] Hi and Lo tone control, Hi and Lo power control, Delta Tune, a Channel 9 button, as well as rotary RF gain control, and the usual Squelch and Volume controls.
If you ever owned one of these radios, perhaps drop me a line with a few comments, or a review, and it can be posted here.
I remember Mark from Wooton Bassett [Half Pint Alison's brother] owning one of these, and he lived in a super spot for getting down to Wales.

I've got one of these Harrier CB-HQ sets in daily use in my workshop. These sets use the Cybernet 134 chassis & work very well & reliably. The workshop has a 'generic' 1/2 waver silver rod type antenna mounted at about a 20' height. My home, 40 yrds away has a seperate CB installation with a 5/8 wave groundlane antenna. Sometimes If I am having difficulty copying someone at home, I run across to the workshop & see if I can get them better on the Harrier CBHQ. Sometimes I can!
The one in the photo has non original knobs, they should be black.
The rig itself it a nice cybernet homebase unit, fairly basic due to its lack of controls, it seemed to be a large case with little features..
Works well and is sensitive on receive..
Expect to pay 50 pounds for a good clean fully working one
