The Krikette speaker was a combined rig mount, and external speaker in one unit.
I am reliably informed, that this speaker had plastic teeth, that gripped into the carpet to hold it in place whilst mobile!!
It is pictured here in the central column of a 1979 Honda, note the push button AM radio, and manual choke!!
