Picture courtesy of Orange Man-John from Wootton BassettMembers of local CB Clubs came together on July 30th 1994 for a sponsored DX in aid of the Sarum Childrens Ward at Odstock Hospital in Salisbury.
Up on some high ground south of Devizes in Wiltshire, they assembled an antenna system that would give them good coverage.
The idea was to raise money by speaking to as many people as possible in 24 hours, although some of the members had been sponsored for the whole event.
The QSL card that you can see above, was sent to you if you included a stamped, self addresses envelope in with your QSL card.
