This 35mm film picture [not digital] was discovered whilst looking for old CB equipment in a cupboard, so I thought I'd share it with you.
What you are looking at, is a Vector 4000 CB antenna [still available today] on top of a custom made 30 foot aluminium mast, on top of a 20 metre tall mobile mast. The picture above was taken around 1999, and the one below was taken in around 2002.
If you look closely at the bottom left of the picture below, you can see Steve, a friend who is 6' 2" tall for scale.
I remember a few people who witnessed the set up below, commenting that it worked superbly!!
In the picture above, you can just make out the basket of the Vector 4000, and can see a MKIII Escort van in the shot for scale.
Happy days and lots of harmless fun.....

What a choice antenna -- thanks for sharing it. I had a similarly shaped Sigma IV in Los Angeles in the '80's. http://www.kcb.co.uk/shop/en-gb/dept_3.html
Of course mine was on only a 20' mast atop a 24' house, so it did not reach the heavens quite as dramatically as your double-mast configuration.
I'm looking for photos to share.
