The Silver Fox-Ian, from Shipton Bellinger was a regular on the CB radio and was a member of many of the CB Clubs around. One of his beautiful Tango Golf cards can be seen here.

His presence at the Hackpen White Horse Radio Club nights was always felt, and he was also at many of the Eyeballs, as well as the Sponsored DX events that were periodically held in this area for worthy causes.

Ian would often be asked what antenna he was using, and his famous two word reply was "A Hotwire!"

Just how hot that wire got, we shall never really know!!

Suffice to say though, he was often heard in the Swindon area, whenever he was on the radio!
