If you were fortunate enough to have a multi-mode CB radio back in the '80's, you would need a fairly substantial power supply such as the Skiptech model you see above.
This heavier duty power supply would power your Cobra 148GTL-DX, or Tristar 777 with ease.
It was also useful if you were looking to run a smaller power amplifier from home such as this.
Would also run your 4 Watt CB rig, and associated accessories such as the RA-201 Reverb.
Also handy for powering up your old car stereo, so you could listen to the UK top 40 every Sunday night!!
