Stingray-Ray

Tonight, I was fortunate enough to have a telephone conversation with on "OLD SKOOL" CB operator, who was once VERY active on the CB bands.

This person recalled a story about Ray, Stingray from Devizes, who worked as a Caretaker/Janitor at the Devizes Police Headquarters.

He continued, that many years ago, Stingray-Ray, had a CB antenna fixed to the lead roof of the Police Headquarters, and used to use an illegal AM CB radio set there at work [rather risky is it not??] Until one day, he was caught using it, and needless to say was given his marching orders!
