Picture courtesy of Powerpack-Steve from Brinkworth. This little unit was for amplifying the signal from your antenna to your set. When installed in your Ford Capri 2.0S, the ignition noise, and noise from the alternator would jump from a signal 1 to a signal 5!
Worked well in applications where you could mount it close to the antenna though.
This little unit would lighten your wallet by £19.95 in 1985....Just think how many games for your Sinclair 48K Spectrum you could have bought for that, back then!!
