This 3 element yagi made by Lemm from Italy, was the perfect way to start if you were serious about getting the DX stations first.
The gain of this antenna was around the 8dBi mark.
"Hang on my Antron 99 has more gain than that...." you shout.
Hmmmm OK then...if you say so!!

If you were fortunate enough to get these up above the roof of your house, or the surrounding trees, you would be certain of being heard first in your area when you called CQ.

Although widely accepted, that this antenna is not suited for local chit chat, one gentleman locally still uses his 3 element yagi, and can be heard chatting with the Scottish, and Irish stations long before, and long after anyone else in his area. A lot of the others in his area are using Antron 99 antennas....hmmmm what does that tell you!!

The bandwidth of these antennas was quite good, and you could cover both the CEPT frequencies, and the UK40 without any difficulty.

Still available today, for around £70.00 this antenna will get you heard.
