Those of you who were fortunate enough to chat regularly with Martyn WB158 will know what a nice operator he was.

Always patient and willing to call absolutely everyone, as long as he had the time, Martyn would stay on the Channel for as long as possible to try to give everyone the chance to work him.

Martyn was always a huge signal on the Channel, and his station could be heard with little more than a patch lead in the rig!!
.
This particular card was sent to me in 1993, and Martyn would always use his trusty Binatone 5 Star and Sadelta echo master plus.
.
He normally used a Shakespeare Big Stick to stand up to the terrific gales in the Orkney Islands, but on this occasion was using a DV27 as the Big Stick had snapped in the gales the previous weekend!!
