Well what a fine radio this little beauty was, and still is!!

Similar to the legendary Rotel RVC 240, the JCB 863 was a great performer, and had added features such as variable tone, and a curious "Norm" or "Clear" switch which whilst in the "Norm" position sounded quite natural, but in the "Clear" position, made you sound like you had a peg on your nose!!

The Delta tune switch made you feel great when you kept telling your mate that his Hygain 5 was off frequency!!

Also the infamous "Dimmer" pot which did very little besides take up room on the front face of the radio!
